One of my sponsor's for the Britmums Live Conference last year was Greenfrog Botanic. They are a local company based in Hove, East Sussex selling gorgeous bathroom essentials such as hand and body wash. I have had the pleasure of reviewing their gorgeous products and finding out more about their unique business.
The owners of Greenfrog Botanic, Nick and Julie lived in India for five years and it was during this time they discovered soapberries and established their business. Soapberries are grown in the Himalayan mountains, where local populations have used them for centuries. These natural berries are often used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat skin conditions such as eczema as well as sensitive or dry skin.
I have recently been reviewing two products from their range: the Neroli and Lime Hand Wash and the Geranium & Peppermint Body Wash. I have really enjoyed using both as they smell absolutely gorgeous. Each product is very concentrated so you only need a little squirt and I have been using both for months and they are still going strong. The Neroli and Lime Hand Wash has been my favourite. The smell is tangy and unique and I really feel its gentleness on my skin.
Greenfrog Botanic states the hand wash is "infused with high quality, antioxidant, moisturising aloe vera and combined with zesty, rejuvenating neroli oil and purifying, antibacterial lime, this hand wash invigorates your hands and elevates your mood." Both the hand wash and body wash certainly are refreshing and the lovely smells last on your hands and body. I think we can take for granted how much smell has an impact on us and these products certainly do lift your mood.
