I've lost my mojo

Source: PicJumbo

As the title suggests I've had writer's block recently. Life hasn't been very good lately. I've thought about writing about it but keep changing my mind. I'm sure many people could relate but I don't know if I want to share something so personal. I've thought about stopping blogging altogether and I have been questioning what blogging really brings to me. I went to the BritMums Live conference at the weekend and although it was great to catch up with people and attend some truly inspiring discussions I felt I wasn't really there. I wasn't my usual self and I haven't been for a long time. I've lost my mojo.

Introducing my BritMums Live Sponsors

Tomorrow is the first day of the BritMums Live Conference in London. It’s one of the biggest blogging and social media events in the UK and I am so excited about attending. I’m delighted to say I have two local brands sponsoring me to attend the event:

Mrs Robinson’s Store is a lovely independent gift boutique based in Worthing. Sally Robinson runs the store selling a whole array of products including jewellery, mugs, cards, prints, brooches, bags, stationary, cushions, lighting, clocks and more. The store works with a number of illustrators and designers to bring a unique mix of products. The shop focuses on animal and pet themes including many from the surrounding pretty Sussex countryside.

Some of the gorgeous products from Mrs Robinson's Store

Mrs Robinson’s Store won the Retail Winner of the Year for the Adur and Worthing Business Awards in 2014. The store is located at 49 Rowlands Road, Worthing, West Sussex. To see a selection of the what’s in the store please see Mrs Robinson’s Store's website.

My other sponsor is Greenfrog Botanic, another local company based in Hove, East Sussex. They sell products that are 100% natural, chemical free and vegan. Products include the neroli & lime hand wash and geranium & peppermint body wash.

Nick and Julie, owners of Greenfrog Botanic, have a unique story about setting up their business. Whilst living in Delhi, India they discovered soapberries which have been used in the Himalayas for centuries for washing with and treating sensitive skin. They started working with an Indian company to develop their own unique range of environmentally friendly and ethically sourced skincare products and have since moved production to the UK. Greenfrog Botanic's range can be found in independent health stores across England and Wales and there is even a one in Spain. The easiest way to buy is from their online shop.

Many thanks to these wonderful companies and I look forward to working with them both in the future. If you are a blogger and are attending Britmums Live I’ll see you there :)

A Birthday trip to Drusillas Park

Last Sunday it was my little boy’s second birthday. Crazy to think I’m a mother to a two year old now and that my little baby is now a very big baby! We wanted to do something special for toddler’s birthday and as he loves animals and trains we thought Drusillas would be ideal. Drusillas Park is located in Alfriston, East Sussex. It is a combination of a zoo with an amazing array of animals, several different animal themed areas, the Thomas the Tank Engine train, a ‘Hello Kitty’ secret garden complete with car rides, ‘Go Wild’ Adventure play ground, indoor soft-play area and activity park, interactive fun, a paddling pool, restaurants, cafes and more. It is a park full of animals and child focused activities.
