Boots Soltan Travel Range Review

Over the winter months I have been reviewing a selection of products from the Boots Soltan range.  The Soltan range is genuinely one of my favourite brands and I have been using their sun care products for many years, including their kids range with Pip. I reviewed the Boots Botanics All Bright Skincare Range last year and was offered a further chance to work with Boots to review this wonderful set of Soltan products for use as a winter sun survival kit.

We had planned to go further afield in the winter months but had to put our plans on hold when Pip was ill. However, we did travel in the UK and were so lucky with the weather. I must admit I usually forget about sun protection in the winter but it's important to look after your skin all year round. The great thing about Soltan sun products is that they have a 5-star rating against the skin damage caused by UVA rays. We used our winter sun care pack on our recent trip to Wales back in January.

My Winter Sun Care Travel Pack included:

Boots Soltan Once Face, Moisturising Sun care Cream
This face cream gives an astonishing 8 hours of sun protection and 40 minutes water exposure! It's not too greasy and can be easily worn under make up. This cream also has a lovely smell and leaves skin feeling moisturised. This cream is water resistant, suitable for all skin types and dermatologist approved.

Boots Soltan Once, Moisturising Sun Care Lotion
As well as the above, this classic sun care lotion has a 5* UVA rating & gives 8 hours protection. It absorbs easily into skin and is not too greasy or oily.

Boots Soltan Active, Ultra-Resistance Sunstick for Lips and Face
I have been using Boots lip salve for years and it was interesting to try this 30 SPF sunstick. This sunstick offers protection from not only the sun but the wind, water, snow and cold weather too! Anyone who lives in a cold climate will know how dry skin can get with indoor heating and cold weather. My lips always crack but wearing this sunstick regularly has made a real difference. It was handy using this over the last couple of months and made my lips and face sumptuous and soft all winter.

Boots Soltan Moisturise and Repel, Hydrating Aftersun with Insect Repellent
This soothing lotion provides intense hydration for sun-exposed skin helping to reduce dryness and prevent peeling, for a long-lasting beautiful tan. Similar to the moisturising sun care lotion, this aftersun cream absorbs into the skin easily and has a pleasant smell. Obviously, this is very handy for tropical environments!

Boots Dual Defence Nasal Spray
This nasal spray is used to help to combat cold and flu-like systems. I've used this a lot in the last month because I had a horrible case of sinusitis. It can be used three times a day, or as required and is easy to use. It relieved my cold systems and I'd recommend it to anyone! This spray is suitable for babies over the age of one.

Boots Pharmaceuticals Re-energise, Mango
I have been taking variations of these vitamin tablets for years because I love drinking the refreshing drinks these tablets create. I had taken orange and blackcurrant ones previously but didn't know a mango version existed so it lovely to try this out as mango is my favourite fruit! This tablets contains all the essential vitamins and are a great way to boost your immune system. Simple drop a tablet into a glass of water and drink it, it couldn't be simpler! I will definitely be buying these in the future.
