April Degustabox Review

This month I was sent a Degustabox box to review. Degustabox is monthly subscription service that sends out a selection of food and drink products. There are between 9-14 items in every box, many of which are completely new on the market. There is an element of surprise as you do not know what is inside the box until it arrives. Buying the items separately from the supermarket would cost a lot more so Degustabox is great value for money. Each box costs £12.99 including delivery.

April’s box had an international food theme. Here’s what was inside:

Kinder choco-bons
Kinder chocolate with cereals
Idrinq drink x 2
Kingfisher beer
Nando’s peri-peri grooves crisps x 3
Schwartz recipe mix x 2 (balti and korma)
Debeukelaer cookies bakery
Chosan Wonjo drink
Veetee rice x 2
Cirio tomato puree
Cirio tinned tomatoes
Scheckters Organic Energy Drink
Barry’s tea

I found this box useful for several reasons:
  1. It’s really nice to receive a surprise box full of goodies in the post. I was excited and felt like a kid opening it up and seeing what was inside. As you can see from the photo above toddler also couldn’t wait to see what was inside!
  2. The food is varied and included some very useful things I always run out of such as tinned tomatoes and tea.
  3. The box included items I wouldn't usually buy and that made trying them quite experimental. I don’t usually buy sachets of rice for example but it was nice to try something different in the Veetee rice range. They also take very little time to cook! The Nando’s crisps are not something I had tried either and I really enjoyed the different rather spicy flavours.
  4. There were two packs of Kinder chocolates AND Debeukelaer chocolate cookies which were delicious! A cuppa with Barry’s tea was the ideal combination.
  5. I enjoyed the international theme and it was interesting to see which country each product came from. I usually eat so many international dishes anyway but it was insightful to learn more about each item and the country of origin!
Do you fancy trying a box? I think this would make quite a nice little gift too; an alternative present to new parents or for a family member living alone? I think anyone would appreciate this box actually! I am offering my readers a £3.00 discount so you’ll pay just £9.99 for your first box. Simple register at Degustabox and enter the discount code: 1BQIF

Please note: The Degustabox comes in both an alcohol and alcohol free version. I was sent items from both boxes for the purpose of the review. All words and opinions are my own.

  6. One can find somewhere between 9-14 solutions holdings and liabilities compartment, several of that can be brand new that can be purchased. There does exist an element of delight mainly because you never understand is certainly included in the compartment before it all can come.
